So i figure maybe a blog about everyone Fibro moments of the day will help everyone feel as though they aren't alone..

So today I had a fibro fog or I just had a side effect from lyrica both are the same. Losing my concentration on words.

So I am a manager in a cell phone company. Today I was trying to explain a phone to a customer but I could not think of the word cell phone for a I swear it was 5 mins. The customer knew I was trying to form a word at first then I just skipped what I was thinking and started talking about something else. Then the customer was talking of course I wasn't listening because I was trying to think of the word I could not think of and then in the middle of his vent, it hit me. CELLPHONE. So i said it I was like cell phone!!! I felt like a freaken idiot. Customer was like you couldn't think of that word!!! Not to mention I was in so much pain from standing for 14 hrs today.

Mine happened at the gas pumps. I couldn't figure out how to pull up to the gas pumps and pump gas into my car which has the gas intake on the right side of the car. We were at Sheetz so the pumps could be accessed at either direction, and I was dumbfounded. I just sat there looking at the cars and the pumps and tried to work it out in my brain. My daughter calmly explained to just pull up behind someone and wait and I still couldn't understand. It was terrible. Finally, I wailted until people left and then I drove around and backed into a spot. Later that day I figured it out. Sometimes, I think this fog is worse for me than the pain.

I HATE the gas pumps. A few months ago I pulled in to get gas, had the hose in the car and did not know how to get the pump to work.

I was standing there trying to read the instructions to figue it out, when the young snipe from behind the counter stormed out, pushed the buttons and stormed back in the store. I felt like an idiot, just about started to cry.

Talk about embarassment. I bought some stuff from Wal-Mart this spring. Had two shopping carts cause one was stuffed with the patio chairs. The clerk and I were having a conversation about forgetfullness while she was checking me out. She was so kind and helped me out with one of the carts. I stood infront of what I thought was my Bravada for 5 minutes trying in vain to get the doors open. At firt I tought it was the remote battery gone dead so I tried the key and it wouldn't work. Frazzled I finally turned around to get my carts out of the roadway only to find that my Bravada was in the next aisle. A kind gentleman pushed my carts over to the correct bravada.

Jan get the award for story of the day. I think everytime I come out of the store because I drive a black PT cruiser and they are popular right now. I am going to push the panic button to see where my car is. This way that doesn't happen to me.

I did that too Jan. But I was with my husband and kids. I was walking ahead with the kids and we were trying to open the doors to our Expidition. Then my husband said hunny that's not our truck. I said yes it is then he said where are the bumper stickers. I have 2 on my bumper. Here I am trying to open the back window of this truck and it wouldn't open my kids are trying to open the back door. My husband pointed to ours the next aisle over. If that wasn't bad enough when we walked way and caught up with my husband he said I wonder if ya'll scared the woman sitting inside. I turned and look and there was a women in the passenger seat. I felt 2inches tall.
