I finally got my new teeth.

I have a husband that now understands what FMS is all about and helps me out a lot.

My step son has finally come around to accepting me in his life.

I have two wonderful friends who are super and work around the fibro part of me.

I'm going to be a great aunt soon.

My brother is finally a happy camper.

I believe in the power of prayer more than ever now.

I can feel Jesus in my life also where I couldn't before.

I have a cat named Tootsie Lou that keeps me laughing. She's my best buddy.

I have found many many friends right here in this forum.

hugs to all

Jan

oops! forgot one. Mama robin has three babies in the nest right now. I check on them every day and I just can't believe how much they have grown in one week. They just started to hatch this time last week. It's facinating to watch how fast they grow and how mama takes care of them.

Hey Janilee! I love what u posted. I can just almost say ditto to all that. The suprise I've been working on, that will benefit all of us, has to do with getting a national day of awareness established. I don't know if in our pm's i told you, but that one group i was part of, remember, that did the senate hearing, using my testimony without me? The main thing is that the state level legislation was proposed and it should be processed and approved. But by sheer coincidence, I met a congressman at the fair and he gave me names and numbers of people to contact. He heard my story and promised me that my ssdi will be approved this time, there will be a congressional seal on it! BUT more importantly, he told me to present our cause higher than the state level. So I've been real buisy writing congress. It's awesome to get letters from the House of Reps and emails back and forth about what this disease does to people. I'm so excited about it! If i can ask anyone who reads this post to write their own local congressman and plead our case to raise awareness, tell them your own personal stories, how it has impacted your abilities, i think if every congressman was made aware, that when it does come before the House, atleast all of them would be familiar with it. On your local congressman's website, there is a section that tells us how to write a letter to the congress. It is important to tell personal stories, but it is imperitive that we submit facts like how many suffer and the treatments our dr's give us, how that affects us. So if you want to help us do this thing, google fibro facts and do some research to present an educated letter that will get thier attn..THIS would be on my list of what I am grateful for, the opportunity to make an impact on our Nation's populus that suffers with this terrible thing called Fibro.
