I actually buy my BioFreeze from my chiropractor's office. It's kind of expensive, but to me it is worth EVERY penny to get the relief.

As far as the hunny bunny goes, hmmmmm maybe a really good friend would do if they are willing to help you? I would offer to loan my hunny bunny out, but then who would help me when I need it? I don't think I'll go there..... I'm keeping my hunny bunny to myself...sorry!

Hi there,

I love my TENS unit. You can get an affordable one at www.austinmedical.com without a prescription or perhaps your insurance can refer you to a place to get one and may pay for it if the Doctor prescribed it.

What the TENS does is sort of short circuit the nerves in the area where you place the electrode pads. It kind of numbs things out for a little while.

If you are having continual neck and shoulder pain, it might benefit to have an MRI done of the area. It could be cervical disk problems.

If you do get a TENS, remember not to put the pads in such a way as to cross the heart ie, don't put one on your back and one on your chest or one on the right side of your chest and one on the left. As a TENS is a nerve/muscle stimulator, it could cause heart problems. Never use them with a pace maker or other implanted electrical device.

Good luck!

Yes the tens unit can help if you don't have your own hunny bunny. lololol I am blessed I have a hunny bunny and a tens unit. lolol How about that one. lololol

Now as for the biofreeze I have tried it and really I don't see a big difference in it and all the other muscle rubs. It doesn't smell as bad as some of the others but, as for working better well maybe.

If you cannot find a tens unit try ebay autcions. i have bought one there without a prescription too. I now have a better one I got at the va hospital but, the tens unit I got on ebay worked pretty good too.

I think ebay is a bit cheaper than other places too.

good luck

Nettie,

I have several friends who were suffering with fibromyalgia. Since I introduced them to a product that I was using for my Asthma, they are no longer suffering. If you would like some info, e-mail me at jhawki5@msn.com

Sincerely,

Linda

Coolmama, I believe that Suzi knows of a place to buy Biofreeze that is a lot cheaper than buying it from the chiropractor. You are right, they charge a small fortune for that stuff, so I use mine sparingly.

If you PM Suzi she can probably tell the name of the website she uses.

She mentioned this in another thread about Biofreeze. I particularly like the roll-on Biofreeze because it isn't messy and you don't have to get it all over your hands and fingers to apply it.

I use my tens unit on my shoulders after i have been typing alot or playing with the grandbaby.I find that it helps with the pain in my shoulders for awhile.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

Gee Feelgreatnow why can't you atleast tell us what it is or what it does.

It sounds strange for a new member to ask us to email them about something which they tell us nothing about.

Is this a joke or what??????

I agree with you bc, I dont want to point fingers. But this makes me feel like another sales pitch to people with pain that will do anything or spend lots of money to feel better.

But that is just my feeling. I could be wrong.
