 I've used a tens unit on my neck and back as I've had a fusion in my cervical spine and also in my lower back. The thing that helped me most was physical therapy in a warm pool and I have a bed buddy that I warm in the microwave and it's my best friend. Good Luck Mary

 Boo hoo for me. I have a pacemaker so I am not allowed to use a TENS. I wish I could. I did before my pacer, and it was great.

 Mary...Isnt the bed buddy awesome, I have gotten 3 of the normal ones and the back one. They freeze great too which my son needs for his knee. I do want to get the body wrap one which would cover neck and shoulders, just havent found it yet other then online. Pool therapy is also wonderful I go twice a week.

Debbi.......Sorry you cant use your tens anymore but we sure wouldnt want you to short circuit on us..lol

 Ok what is a bed buddy???? I have never heard of one. Got to check this out. lololol It is like a large heating pad you heat up in the microwave? Sound wonderful. Be back later got to find one of those. lololol

 LOL A bed beddy is a tube of rice i believe that you can either freeze or heat it up in the microwave, about 2 minutes for 45 minutes of heaven or so. They have different ones, a back one that you can strap on you the body wrap which looks like a shawl kinda, large joint ones for knees, small joint ones for wrists and ankles. They have hand ones and feet ones too. I have found all of them on amazon.

 I have one that goes around my neck i just bought it Tuesday its like the neck pillow I have but this one you can heat and freeze

 A TENS unit is a little machine with elctrodes that you put on your body and it continuosly stimulates the muscles with a variety of different settings. Normal your doctor or physical therapist prescribes them for you but I do know they are available on the web. The brand I have and Pamela has is empii and their site is www.empi.com.

Have you ever seen those 'Ab Belts' that were really popular a few years back?

I have one of those...I wonder if it would work the same way?!?!

It shocks the muscles right?

Do you know the price range of the TENS unit?

 Boy is my mind going into the gutter!! I have one of those rice things, but never heard them called "Bed buddy"! lololol I have soooooo many jokes going through my head, but in the interest of keeping it clean, Im going to keep them to myself lolol
