Sue, as you start to adjust to this illness your family will adjust also. Children are very resilient. You will be amazed with them. I just had an anxiety attack the other night in front of my 7 year old granddaughter. She has never seen one before but she ran and got my medicine and water then she stood right in front of me and said "Nanna" you have to breath all the way down from your toes! And believe it or not you can gasp for air and laugh at the same time. But she is the one that got me back on track and breathing the way I should. You will realize that your children have a strengh you never knew they had. And you will be reaching deep down to find a strength that you never realized you had. It will all work out. Im not saying you won't have alot of tough days but you will prevail as your children will. And with all the great people here at MD, all you have to do is reach. I don't know if your spiritual but if you are, during your pain don't forget to reach out to that side of you either. I tend to forget when I am in pain. We will be here for you.
