 My dear friend Melissa has fibro. I have tried to read up on what she is going through...knowing I can never fully understand. I have missed out on so much of her suffering (my own issues in life), now I have a chance to be there for her, help her if i can in anyway, even if it is just to give a hug and let her vent.

So, she told me about this site, this group...here I am. I hope to help support her and others, hope to better gain insight into this....and just do what it can.

Welcome to the group. You will find LOTS of information here. All of the people on this board are so very helpful. Feel free to ask questions about anything regarding fibro that you don't understand.

You must be a pretty awesome friend to intentionally search out information about what your friend is going through...I applaud you

 You are such a great person and friend. I wish more people out there cared enough to learn about fibro. I have friends ,but not like that.They really don't get it and bury their head in the sand .
