WELCOME APRIL! You've come to the right place to get understanding and a lift up when you're feeling blue...If you need a way to describe to hubby about the pain you are in as a result of Fibro, look for the Fibro letter thread, and there you go! I'm just a bit older than you, but I was diagnosed when I was 21-22, after going through every test in the book, including that EMG one where they stick little needles in your skin to detect nerve impulses! YAY! The common symptom I share with you is a "bad" hip. There has never been anything that any doc could figure out was wrong with it and every x-ray/MRI comes back negative for fracture and arthritis levels are normal for me. I feel your pain, literally. If I walk too much, or slightly misstep during a long walk, then all the muscles around that darn "bad" hip feel as if my hip popped out of place and sprained all the muscles.
