I have been diagnosed with FM for 8 yrs. I found an MD about 3 yrs. ago who is very well versed in FM, CFS, RSD treatment. I take Ibuprofen 800mg 3x/day, norflex 100mg 2/day also klonopin 2mg/ up to 4x/day, and Wellbutrin. I have recently started on the Marshall Protocol. Very involved, but is basically an intercellular over conversion of Vit D. You can access it on the web. Just type in Marshall Protocol. Seems to be helping some. I also have accupuncture and electrical stim. I try to have it at least every month, seems to last about 3 wks. But it is expensive, even when partially reimbursed by private insurance. |
