MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunny_fly)

Do you think FM is progressive? Or do our bodies just get so tired and run down that it seems that way?

Thanks.

Welcome sonelife. I personally think it is progressive as mine started slowly and kept getting worse.

Welcome somelife,

You will find that FM affects people so many different ways. I actually started out terribly when I was first looking for a diagnosis. It was my worst time ever....so much pain I could hardly stand to do anything....and the fatigue was overwhelming. However, mine has gotten better over the last few years. I know doctors will say it's not progressive....however, I think it worsens for some and gets better for others. So my advice would be to stay positive and always have hope that it WILL get better!! Mine did. I still have good and bad days, but it is overall better. Sending you BIG {{soft}} hugs! Red

Thomasann, I think mine has gotten worse, but I have been dealing with it since 1999, only dx'd in April 2006.

Red2, Thanks for the reply and encouragement.

I am on Lyrica, gaining weight, which doesn't help. Sometimes wonder if the meds make some conditions worse.

Thanks for the welcome.

Peace and comfort,

Somelife
