Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a yoga instructor and practitioner since 1983 and have many clients with fybromyalgia. I have been working with a researcher who has come up with some very interesting and helpful information that I would love to share. Hope what I bring to the table uplifts and empowers you to positive health.

Alessandra.....Welcome to our group. I am new, too, but have already found some great friends.

I think all of us could use new info on treating fibromyalgia and we would all appreciate you sharing this with us!

Again, welcome! Lois

My heart goes out to all of you.

I of course am not a doctor but will share with you what I know in hopes that what I have to offer can help. If what I say appeals to you my hope is that you stay in touch and let me know how things are going because the road of healing is not necessarily hard but can be. And of course it goes without saying that your doctor or nutritionist approves any advice offered by me for you in particular. If you have heard of these things and it hasn't worked please share that as well and maybe through my connections we can find alternatives. Maybe you all could start by sharing what you have tried? Hope this email finds you in good spirits.

Alessandra

If you care to you may tell me what you have already tried

The first suggestion I would like to offer is the most non-invasive. It is called z-health and comes from a Russian martial art. You will see the Russian athletes do this in the Olympics (but they do it really fast!!) In the beginning though it is a series of slow gentle smooth quality circles similar to Tai chi that is good for every joint. These movements help to stimulate healing in our nervous system. A lot of these movements can be done lying down. Here is a website to helps get you started if this appeals to you. http://zhealth.net/ I have had much personal and professional success with this practice. One of my favorite being members of the women's olympic crew team (from the previous summer games) who had no injuries while training with me. And for myself being allowed to continue dancing ballet into my 40's injury free. I hope you will share any success or obstacles you may find in this journey.
