If you do change for floors to wood. Look into Bamboo. It is environmentally friendly. They might be easier to take care of. Just a suggestion

Bamboo? Really? I always think of Bamboo as being a 'soft' wood! I have 3 dogs....will this wood stand up to all of their punishment? Hmm..thanks alot for the tip. And this time, I'll be sure to get the floors in the color of "Dust", so they look good ALL the time!

Hey Red....my regret for getting the wood floors was due to several things. #1 was that they were a 'darker' wood...like a darker walnut color. The floors showed 'everything', and #2, at that time I had 2 Samoyed dogs. Those are those pure white beautiful dogs that molt..or shed ALOT!! Any speck of dust, dog hair, food showed up....and with fibro, I couldn't run a dust mop throughout the whole bottom half of the house!! My hubby installed Pergo floors for my Mom and it was a light 'sand' color, and you couldn't really tell when the floors were dirty. Well, except for the dirty white socks! Now, we eventually need to redo all our tile floors here in the new house, but believe you me....they will be the sand color! That is IF I can find a wood strong enough to withstand '3' dogs!!

As for other cute sayings....try these:

"Clutters Last Stand" or one of my favorites.."People who are ORGANIZED are just too lazy to look for things!"

I laughed for the first time today at "Clutters Last Stand" or one of my favorites.."People who are ORGANIZED are just too lazy to look for things!"

That is just so funny, lol. I always tell people that whatever you do don't move anything, because I am genius with a photgraphic memory, and if move it I won't be able to find it.

Ann Moss,

Hey tuffy, Thanks for the advice about the wood floors! No dogs here, yet. I already thought about using a light colored wood, so that sounds like the way to go!

.."People who are ORGANIZED are just too lazy to look for things!" HA HA HA HA HA I love this one! Obviously we are not "lazy" around my house ----we're looking for things all the time!! (However, it might be because I can't ever remember where I put them -- like one minute ago!!!)

Does anyone know what is wrong with dust bunnies? I don't understand why we all hate them like we do. Yes, I do. When I was growing up we had wood floors throughout our house and my job was to make sure that I keep my room clean I was ever (so not) known as a clean freak I had way to much to do being a teenager and all. Well my turtle got out and I could not find him until my mom finally write a note on my door and said that Tornado Jean had struck and no one was allowed to do anything for the weekend until the tornado mess was picked up. To make a long story short I cleaned under my bed and found my turtle dead the dust bunnies had gotten him Boy, did I feel guilty. Jean
