I truly believe that fibromyalgia is one of the nastiest, most painful things anyone can go through. I have had it for a long time and see no end in sight. I am always looking for alternative health ways of dealing with it. I find Qi Gong to be the best so far.

Qi is great. I am still learning, but find it very soothing. Have you heard of Lee Holden? He has a wonderfull selection of DVDs and is easy to follow. I haven't been able to take any classes so far. I have thought of trying acupunture. Does it really help?

No, I haven't heard of Lee Holden. I actually saw a 'Chinese Doctor' as he said it. I told him he didn't look Chinese to me! (he wasn't) but he specialized in Qi and Qi Transmission! He treated me over the phone for a while, then I drove HOURS to meet him personally. He taught me everything I know about it and I do have to say I have to thank him for A LOT!

Acupuncture DOES help...tremendously! However, finding the right doc to do it is a different story! I finally found her! She's great!...no, she's AWESOME!

THANKS! I was thinking you were talking about an herbal supplement.

I need to exercisae, but haven't been released from my doctor to start. this looks like something gentle that I can do to at least loosen up a little.

Smudge, are you using Lee Holden's videos? And where did you ge them from his site?

This is Lee Holdens web address. I like his dvds. I can follow him and keep up with him. There's a lot of Tai Chi classes around here, but not many Qi Gong. Ken Cohen is another great Qi Gong teacher, but he deals more with books. He has DVDs on how to treat people using Qi Gong medically. That really doesn't help us much. Take a look at this website. I have all of the the dvds except the senior one. I admit I haven't been able to do it every day, but the days I do use it I find a little relief. I do use some of the moves at work when no one is looking.
