Michigan is in the house! However, so is spring...if anyone knows spring in Michigan...it;s a pile of dirty snow, cold rain, garbage under the melted snow, lots of mud and leftover salt that gets all over your clothes and cars. Sometimes, if we're lucky here, we skip it and go right from winter to summer. Michigan weather is different because we are surrounded by water and we have so many inland lakes. It can be 20 degrees one day and 80 degrees the next...no foolin. We;re the state with the expression (as I know some others do also) that if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute.

I would like some warm temps right now so I can garden. My bulbs are coming up right now.

Here on the MA/RI border, the forsythias have started to pop and the magnolias will be right behind them. So far it's been the perfect spring for the plants, but a bit too damp and cool for us people. Yesterday it hit 70 for the first time!

I live in NE Ohio, in a 'very' country like town called Chesterland. Its about a 45 minute drive from downtown Cleveland. We're out in the 'woods' per say and I am sooo in love with Ohio and our house and wooded backyard. I don't have to drive anywhere to see the changing leaves...I just go out into my backyard. We've been in Oh for a bit over 2 years...transplants from Ann Arbor, Michigan! It was so gorgeous last weekend in the high 60's, & now this wkend is to be high 40's & snow. What? Where is spring hiding??? Been here over 2 yrs and haven't made 1 'female' friend !!! That's where I consider everyone on this forum as my friend! We may not meet for lunch, but we can support each other wiht words and encouragement

I'm in Colorado. Wonderful weather but it can change at any moment. They always say if you don't like the weather wait an hour and it will be different. I've seen it go from the 60's in the morning to snow by dinnertime. But it is Colorado. Jean

I live on the BEAUTIFUL cumberland plateau in Tennessee and love it. I was raised here and moved around quite a bit when my ex was in the military but we came back here to live. It is really nice here today and supposed to be aroun 70 degrees. The flowers and honeysuckle are blooming and smell great.
