it makes me feel better knowing i'm not alone or crazy. my boygriend is awesome and helps me alot. my exhusband left because he was tired of me being sick all the time. that and his girlfriend. but thats a whole nother isue entirely... i am on lyrica 300mg a day. and cybalta. i have been on oxycodone for a few weeks but it wasn't holding me over long enough, so today i got my doc to let me try the lowest dose of the fentanyl patch until i can get into a pain clinic. i have to work 3 twelves the next couple of days so time will tell how well it works. i have zomig zmt for my migraines. i wake up everyday with some form of a headache so i'm pretty used to them. my girls are 4 and 2 1/2. and boy are they hyper. i'm pretty sure my oldest is getting my headaches now. i hope she doesn't have the same problem i do. has anyone noticed there kids getting symptoms of fibro? i'm curious how young it can hit. and thanks again for your support.

My mom also has symptoms of fibro, but hers is nothing like mine yet.

I have noticed my daughter 7, complains of headaches allot, and my son 5, wakes up crying in the night because his legs hurt and I have to go rub his legs until he can relax and fall back to sleep. I'm really worried for my son because I know for sure thats a sign of fibro.

Cadburry, middle child was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis when he was 7. His symptoms started when he was 5. That was way before my fibro, but my doc told me that autoimmune disorders must run in our family. I would watch your 5 year old close. The leg pain is how my son's symptoms started........

Thank you Ladycrowe, I had no idea kids could get arthritis at such a young age. I also have arthritis, not sure of what kind, but the ortho said it was so bad that he didn't think sergery would help it.I hate to think that maybe I passed all this on to my son.

Just watch him.... maybe ask your ortho or rheumy about the possibility... How could you know that these things could be genetic?.... heck, there is so little known about the fibro.... just watch him, and of coarse, love him to pieces!!!!
