 Hello to everyone. My name is Debra and I was diagnosed with Fibromylagia in the Fall of 07. Along with a herniated disc in L4. I am in pain each and everyday. I am forunate to have good doctors at this time. I just watched the video of Tom Varillas and have just finished sending Oprah an email asking for her help on getting the awarness out there for this horrible disease. I often wonder why I have this disease but who am I to ask why. God has a plan for everything and I know there is a purpose for this. I was diagnosed with these 2 things only 2 months before my granddaughter was born. Now I feel cheated...I can't hold her unless I am sitting down and I can't watch her due to the chonic fatigue that I have everyday. I hope that one day there will be other medical treatments for this other than Lyrica. It only takes the edge off for me. I do however have a wonderful support group from my family and friends. They understand what I go through each day and that within itself is a blessing. I hope to get to know each and everyone of you. Thanks for listening!
