 HI, MY NAME IS LILLIAN . IM 32 MARRIED WITH TWO BABIES A 1 AND 2YR OLD. SOMETIMES I THINK I'LL GO MAD FROM THE PAIN. IT'S RELENTLESS. I FEEL LIKE A DISSAPOINTMENT TO MY HUSBAND ALTHOUGH HE WOULD NEVER SAY THAT AND A SHADOW OF THE MOTHER I ALWAYS DREAMT OF BEING. I FEEL HOPELESS. IM LIVING, WELL MORE LIKE EXISTING WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND FIBROMYALGIA. I AM NOW A SHELL OF THE WOMAN I ONCE WAS. I DONT EVEN RECOGNIZE THE PERSON STARING BACK AT ME IN THE MIRROR. I WAS ONCE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY A BUSINESS WOMAN.I WAS STRONG AND ENERGETIC. AND NOW I HAVE TROUBLE EVEN WASHING A DISH. CHANGING A DIAPER IS EXCRUTIATING. WILL IT EVER GET BETTER? WILL I EVER HAVE MY LIFE BACK? CAN ANY ONE RELATE? I FEEL SO ALONE IN MY PAIN.

 WOW, I know exactly how you feel, I am the mother of one beautiful one in a half year old, and some days it's so hard just to pick her up or change a diaper. Some days I can hardley get off the couch. Everyone just calls me a pill addict, and that I'm faking the way I feel. You know how that makes me feel? Pretty darn shitty!! My Fiance tries really hard to understand me and rubs me all the time and all that but when it doesn't halp and he can't make me feel better, it frustrates him and me at the same time, it's really hard for me and I can't imagine how that makes him feel, so helpless. Sometimes I just don't want to get out of bed in the morning! I'm glad there's someone else out here to relate to me.

 You are definitely not alone. There are many of us that have similar struggles. Some days I am so tired even after sleeping all night that I go back to bed once everyone is out of the house and sleep another 2 hrs! So, please don't get too hard on yourself. Do the best you can and know that you have to pace yourself or it will cause more pain.

 I am sorry your having a hard time. This is a great place to talk about it with people who do understand what its like. Some times no matter how hard our loved ones try they just can not begin to understand the pain and how we ourselfs wish we were better with less pain. I for one and really glad I found this place on the web to be able to talk about it.

 Welcome to the best support group you will ever find!

When you are having a bad day, one of us who is having an okay day, will be here to lift you up. If one of us is having a bad day, it might be you that makes all the difference.

We laugh here and we cry here. Sometimes member don’t sign on for weeks but when they come back, it is as if they never left.

I hope you find what you need here. I am sorry that you are having such a hard time right now. We all are living our lives with FM so never be afraid to vent or ask ANY question you may have.
