I plan on walking this summer when school gets out. Someone PUSH me to do it! My mom may walk with me too which will help!!! I also have a pool and need to get into it and swim and exercise rather than laying my butt out and tanning(which I will squeeze in somehow) LOL This year i am sorry to say i will buy a 2 piece that covers my fat Lyrica stomach!

Funny you say that you are going to start to walk--I am too!! I need a push to get started as well. I so wish I had a pool, we have a city pool, but there kids are there obviously. I really don't want to see my students while I am in a swimming suit. I haven't put on a suit for years--strange for someone who was a life guard, and city pool manager for years! I LOVE to swim. Good luck with the walking, and how is Lyrcia going for you?

Well, I am messing with it. From what i understand, it's not like an anti-depressant- (you can't miss taking those or just stop) I was taking 1 75mg in the morning and 1 at night for a total of 150mg a day. However, it really didn't help much and my doctor said just take them whenever-if 1 does the trick and i can skip the next- do it. So now i am waking up and taking 2 75mg. at a time, and it is lasting through the day. I figure i have been on so much crap nothing will hurt!! LOL I understand about the swimsiut-thing. My school is 35 miles away but i would freak if my kids saw me in a suit!!!

Forgot to ask- how is the Lyrica going for you? In the last 7 years i have gained 30 pounds and want it gone. of course i turned 40 a couple of years ago and i realize nature and hormones are not on my side. I have never been this big in my life and am having a hard time with it.

Weight is still steady. Do have a bit of a puffy belly. But, I don't have the 3 baby abdominal fat--6 for one, half dozen for another. If I sit and do nothing, I tend to get the munchies. Staying busy somehow seems to prevent the munchies most of the time. Either that or my determination to keep my weight stable.

How many teachers are here?

My physical goal is to hike and rappell again.

Not sure how many teachers are here but seems like a lot. I am elementary k-5 music and was diagnosed about 10 years ago. It hasn't kept me from doing anything yet, but i can't sit still for long periods and in the morning when i wake up is awful. I seem to have trouble taking deep breaths sometimes- my whole chest cavity kills me and is so sore.
