Fibromyalgia for dummies is what made me look up an online support group. That book and the complete idiots guide gave me alot of insight to things I figured were normal in your 30's. Here I got tested for the numbness in my hands and it's just another part of my fibromyalgia. I would have had the test to be sure any ways but.....knowing is better then all the endless wondering!

I just finished reading The Everything Health Guide to Fibromyalgia by Winnie Yu boy is it a good book. I think it has meantioned just about everything that we have questioned in this group from finding the right doctor to positive coping to the future of fibromyalgia. I think that we all should maybe read it. I know a study group and then we can educate our doctors. Boy won't that surprise them if we came to their office with notes on what help we needed. MAybe it would wake up some of them to the need for more education on this condition. Jean
