Hello, I am new to the forum and thought I would post an intro. My name is Jeanna. I am 42 and have been married to my husband Ken for almost 22 years now. We have two children 1 dd Marina who is 14 and 1 ds Nathan who is 19. I live in a small town in the southern Appalachian mountains. I have been sick for the lack of a better word for 10 years now. I more or less diagnosed myself after about 2 years but it took the doctors another 4 years to say the word. Actually when it finally came up at my chiropractor and then I went back to my regular doctor she said oh yeah I have no doubt that is what you have. I have tried to work on an off for the last 10 years. I have now come to the realization that I am unable to work outside of the home. I am not pursuing SS yet. The reason being is I have to find another doctor because my doctor told me the last time I went and was sitting there crying I was hurting so bad, told me that I would hurt whether I worked or whether I didn't so I really wasn't disabled. Of course her answer to everything is for me to walk, walk, walk, and I can't walk that much. Anyway, I hope to meet some friends and get and give support. Glad to have found the forum. Jeanna |
