On a side note, how old are your kids?

Ok, so let's see...I think one of the first things I can tell you is don't let the guilt of having to say no to an activity cause you to push yourself to hard. It's hard to learn, but one of the keys to living with fibro is learning how to pace yourself. I'm not sure if your children are actively involved in sports and such (needing rides, help w/ activities...) so it will be a learning curve to know when you can say no and when you need to push thru.

Again, let me know if you have more questions. We'll be here for you through it all.

Have you talked to your dr about your sleep issue? If so, have they made any recommendations?

I may have some non-med things to try for you, but am not sure if they will work for you or not. Some of the things I try are - hot bath, listen to relaxing music or relaxation cds before going to sleep, use my bed buddy where it hurts most (thing I heat in microwave)...there are probably other things, but those are the ones I can think of for right now. Others may have other suggestions as well.
