MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

daniixellie, I had a rough night last night and my husband which is usually understanding was not. I got up this morning and here is a beautiful letter from I am assuming one of the neatest teenagers I have ever heard of. God Bless you for this letter, and the compassion you have for your mom! Lots of Luck to you in your future. Kaze

You are proof that not all teens are self-centered . Your mama must be so proud. Thanks for sharing your perspective of this disease,it helps to know that maybe my teens feel this way too, at least some of the time.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

daniixellie, What a beautiful tribute you paid to your mom.....and to the rest of us. I am sure your mom is so very proud of you. Women and men who are afflicted with this syndrome need the support of their families to help them with their daily struggles. Not all get that support. I, fortunately, get that support (especially from my daughter) but never had anyone write such a tribute to me as you did to you mom. You are a terrific teenager.

Thank you for sharing your letter with us.

Maggie

What a great understanding of your moms and all of our disease. I have aloways though of fibro as a continuous cirle of pain that I cannot seem to get off of. You show great compassion by offering your mom a way off of that circle and not caring where she was or where she ended up. You would be there for her.

I have the same guilt that you talked about and I hope that my children feel the same way about it that you do. Sometimes the only thing harder than the pain for me is the guilt. THank you for addressing something so personal in such a beautiful way.

Your mother is a lucky mom,

and you are a lucky daughter,

Sandi

I just want to say thank you for your message. I am sitting here with my 5 year old daughter Lily and you made me feel better about what I will face in the future and my not being able to be supermom. You made me cry because I realize that after 13 years with this crazy "syndrome" I don't have to feel guilty or push myself physically to prove something to anyone (including those I love and that love me). That its okay to have off days and that it doesn't make me a bad mom or person if I just can't do some things. I think my Lily already understands and she'll even rub my back when I hurt too much.

With that... I hope that she will continue to be my rock and as sweet and kind as you are to your mom! You're Awesome! Rock On!

danixellie,

You are a very mature teen and I thank you for understanding what your mom and the rest of us is feeling. It is hard to understand what we go through if you do not have it. I have had fibro for 17 yrs. my daughter was born after I was inflicted with these fibro. So this is the life that Sarah has grown up in. She is always right there for me when I am in pain, which is always. I hope that she understands fibro and how hard I am fighting through it as much as you understand and respect your mom.

Thank you for your letter and I hope that you have a great life with happiness and no pain.

Rita
