I spent some time looking on the interenet for fibro stuff trying to find somewhere here in town that i could buy a t-shirt or something that i could were around town .. well needless to say i couldnt find a thing and i dont really have the money to order soemthing on line and then pay for shipping so i got a bit cheeky and grabbed this jean jacket a friend gave me soemthing i can wear all summer long and actaully broadcast .. I painted this on the back of it

" Fibromyalgia... might look fine to you but feels like crap to me" now once i figured out exactly what i wanted to put on it i started to laugh it just struck me as soo cheeky but so true.. Im not really sure if im the only one that would find this amusing but I felt compelled to share it.. I guess im just sick of people saying how good i look or you look fine hahahha it might not seem like a big deal but it felt so liberating Im already thinking of more slogans to put on more clothes ... I think i scared hubby a bit though i mentioned painting the car hahahha well hope this sparked some mischief in a few others hehehe

I love it----I would wear a shirt with that slogan on it. I can't think of a better way to describe how we feel. I thought of Fibromyalgis----The disease you can't see, But I like yours alot better. People would pay attention to yours. We'll have to think of some more. I also thought of

FIBROMYALGIA----If you think its nothing then

you can have mine.

and make 20% of my old income

on disability.

yeah, good one. It's such a sad reality isn't it? I use to get those looks from people, but I've moved 75 miles away from everyone who knows me. I have one companion. He actually has done a phenomenal job at understanding the limitations and pain i am apparently going through. thank God (I guess) that some of my pain is viewable. My muscle spasms can be seen and felt. If I wouldn't have those, I probably would never got on medicine. I probably would not be here.

A few years back before I ever heard of Fibro, I remember seeing a young woman get out of her car in a HP spot. She had all these patches on her - now I know that they were lidocaine patches I guess & she had

a Bumper Sticker that said: : Fibromyalgia - The Invisible Disease/Illness, can't remember which one it was.

I forgot to welcome you truebluetara - Welcome to the group

Don't let her make you feel bad. I think your idea was wonderful. I will think of some more today. I love to think of this kind of stuff. SAndi
