OMG I have been having the worst wrist pain. It didnt help matters that I fell on the ice and snow and sprained it. But it hurt before that. It is mostly my right one but left one hurts too. I cannot write for a long time or cut potatoes, stuff like that. And it seems as if the pain killers do nothing for the pain.

Debbi, I am sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you are doing better. Have to watch out for that ice and snow.

How weird that you should mention wrist pain. For about the last three days now my wrists are very painful, especially the right one.

Sometimes I feel like a hypochondriac when I read posts on here. Someone will mention a pain they have in a specific part of their body and I have the same thing.

My pain pills aren't even touching it but then again my pain pills don't help too much anyway,

Take care....Maggie

ITS MY RIGHT WRIST TOO. ITS STARTING TO GET ON MY NERVES. I'M GONNA BE 30 SHORTLY, I WAS DIAGNOSED WHEN I WAS 26. AS TIME GOES ON NEW PAIN SEEMS TO DEVELOP IN NEW PLACES. THEN IT GOES AWAY FOR A BIT AND THEN COMES BACK. FOR PAIN I TAKE 800MG IBPROFEN, WHICH ISNT SEEMING TO HELP MY WRIST. YESTERDAY I ALSO HAD PAIN IN MY RIGHT CALF AND HEEL, ALONG WITH LEFT NECK/SHOULDER PAIN.

NOW THERE ARE SOME DAYS WHEN I HAVE NO PAIN, FEW AND FAR BETWEEN.

THANKS FOR SHARING

DEVON

I wish I could take Ibuprofen. But I cant because I am on Coumadin to prevent blood clots and Tylenol is the only over the counter med I can take. The wrist pain and the knee pain/leg pain are the two things that hurt me the most

Oh Devon, I just read about the heartbeat in your ear. I have that so often when I go to bed. I hate hearing it because then I lay there thinking I heard my heart skip a beat, I have never mentioned this to my doctor. I also get a weird sound in my left ear when I am curling my hair and I have to raise my arm over my head. It is most annoying. It reminds me in a way of waves breaking in the ocean.

I saw also where you have wrist pain. I just posted a reply to Debbi about wrist pain. Mine start a few days ago.

Hoping you have a good day....Maggie

MAGGIE:

HYPOCHONDRIAC...........LOL. I SWEAR EVERYTIME I TURN AROUND ITS SOMETHING ELSE HURTING.I WAS REALLY SCARED WHEN I HEARD THE HEARTBEAT IN MY EAR. I SWEAR I CALL THE DOCTORS OFFICE FOR EVERYTHING I APPOLOGIZE FOR BEING ANNOYING BUT I GET SCARED WHEN I GET NEW PAINS, I'M NEVER SURE IF ITS PART OF THE FIBRO OR SOMETHING ELSE.I GUESS BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

Until I was finally diagnosed with Fibro I used to tell my doctor I had what I called "traveling pain". It would start out in one area and then move on to somewhere else. I cannot take anti-inflammatories as they cause a severe reaction...my throat swells shut (that's the biggy), and I develop huge hives on my chest and back. Also hives under the skin. They can be quite painful. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a drug that I can honestly say helps me a good deal. Presently I am on Lyrica but it helps just a little. I have been having severe pain in my lower back...mostly left side and my hip area. Tonight I told my husband that it there were a device a dr could put on me to measure the pain it would register a 10!! The pain is always with me but about 3 in the afternoon it starts getting worse and by the time dinnertime rolls around I am practically in tears trying to get dinner made. Joe has started to help in any way he can when it comes to preparing the dinner. He does enough for me already - cleaning the house, doing the laundry, ironing....you name it, he does it. He is so very supportive.

teri, I take Xanax and it didn't make the heartbeat in the ear go away. I wish it did, lol.
