I really am. My mother named me after the actress (for any of us that are old enought to know who she is). Not the Grease character

I was diagnosed in 2005 but did not believe the doctor.

Started seeing a pain mgr in Oct 07 cause I couldn't take it anymore.

I spend too much time wishing I didn't have the chronic pain and fatigue that come along with fibro. Wishing I could do all of the things that need to be done.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. I will try to post regularly but I work part time and go to school part time.

I am a mother of 3, girl-20, girl-17, boy-8. My eldest has been married for 2 years and blessed me with a son-in-law that is marvelous and just this past 2/12 a beautiful grandson. Yep, I am only 40 but that's ok. I need age on my side as my physical self stinks.

Welcome! I'm not on here too much but I have loved the info I've gotten from here. I'm with you I wish I didn't have all this pain and fatigue.

I am also a mom of 3 - 19,17,15 all girls. Plus I have a 2yr old grandaughter and a 1 month old grandson. The good thing about being a young grandmother (I'm 38) is the youth but the fibro can mess that up too. The grandbabies are well worth everything!

Good luck with your FM and the kids.

Crystal

Welcome! I've only been part of the group for a short time and was made to feel right at home. I hope you find it the same for you. It's nice to chat with people who are going through the same things as yourself.

I can relate not to the grandmother part but about the fatigue .. there are days when getting out of bed seems like a huge achievment .. let alone forcing my self to be up playing with the kids... I just have to say how nice it feels to be in a place where I am not a minority .. I wish you all .. all the best

I do that time and again also. I have fibro, hypothyroid, adrenal exhaustion and perimenopause. I think that covers it but I reserve the right to remember other diagnosis if they pop back into my brain. :O

I was wondering if anyone here is from OH and has a good fibro doc?
