It is not worth it. What I discovered is that the following day was a really bad day.

What a horrible idea. I have suffered tremendously for this experiment. It is not just an electrolyte issue -- I jacked up the electrolytes. I do not know what it is, but drinking alcohol is not worth the hell-on-wheels rebound with fybro. There is no positive side. This is no more.

Being a bit embarassed, I have found myself looking up from the bottom of the well, as alcohol has now become a big part of my days. My excuses? Escape from wondering what I'll get hit with next as far as health problems, the constant pain, the winter depression and just general boredom and lack of energy. I'm finding this is a "HUGE" hurtle to try and stop. Any suggestions on how to stop this rat-race?

I have no suggestions on how to stop the rat race. I drink wine and mixed drinks occasionally, even tho my meds bottles say to avoid it. I have never had a hangover in my life, and it doesnt affect me much. High tolerance I guess. What is really odd is my son and my dad have never had hangovers, ever.

Well that is what I thought. But, it tuns out that if I use booze as a drug, and if i dose it at the least effective dose there does seem to be merit. Like anything else it is dose critical. If I take too much there are serious consequences. Painful consequences. It sucks as a pain reliever but if that is all that is available to you, I think that it is better than nothing.

Dose is critical ~ Yes!!. We all have our good and bad days and on the days where you think you'll go insane from the pain, it is very hard to resist.
