"My mother is dealing with chronic pain and has fibromyalgia" (worrieddaughter09)

MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Hi Rhiannon,

I was interested to know. Did you get disability? I am a nurse. I was injured in a car accident and I have had a terrible time in Maryland with the disability process. My husband and I have lost everything but our house? I too have fibro among many other dx. I hope you don't think this is too personal? PS Welcome, I too amd new and it it nice to meet you.

Thanks, I will be back later today. My husband wants to take me out to lunch and I really don't feel like getting ready. It has been a bad weekend. Snowed here Thursday and that is always hard on me. Oh well, at least he tries to keep me happy.

I do understand what it's like to hurt when the wind blows on you, or your husband strokes your arm, or any other little touch. When your skin hurts, it doesn't take much. Welcome to the group. I've had FM for 7 yrs. now.
