Thaks for all the Hello's, it's so nice to have so many of you welcoming me and all the other newbe's. I had a doctor's appt. today, and there was a medical student there, ya know they come in before the doc. Anyways, he rambled on and on about how I need to see a pychiatrist. That makes me sooooo mad! Are they saying it's in my head, and he's not the first to do so, so I think I'm even more sensitive to it. Ya I'm depressed, yup, it's in my chart,but that's not why I'm in excruciating pain. So then I start crying cuz I'm frustrated and insulted, and it makes me look even more unstable. If these doc's lived one day in our shoes, then maybe they'd get it. Anyways, they are starting me on Kadian, anyone know about it? It's a high dose, 200mg, cuz I'm opiate tolerant. But I'm scared, cuz it's such a strong med, and it will last 24 hrs. What if it makes me sick? Any advise? Sweetbean  Sweetbean |
