MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

I seem to have a new problem. For years, I've had to wear liners so that when I coughed or sneezed, I didn't wet my pant. Now, lateley, I can be walking standing sitting and just suddenly spring a leak. So muh so that I have to go put dry new undies and change my pants. Anyone else have this? Any suggesstions on how to stay dry?

I do that sometimes too. You may want to go to your dr. they have meds to help with that.

I don't have that problem, which I am really surprised!! I have 4 children!! and the last two kiddos were twins! So I expected that to happen, but it didn't. I do, however know a friend who had a severe problem with that. She went to her gynocologist and they did an internal exam and had her cough, etc....to feel her muscles in that "department" and she has VERY weak muscles on the outside, so therefore her bladder wasn't the problem. They suggested that she go in and have a "cup" or "shield" put inside, to stop from leaking. The recovery time is about 3 weeks, with about 1.5 weeks resting alot...she didn't have it done yet, since she works full time....but she was glad to know there is a light at the end of the "pee tunnel"!! lol.

I also know that meds will help your bladder if that is the problem....it will help the flow of urine and strengthen the interior muscles of your bladder. but if it is your Kegal muscles that is the problem, just know there is help for that too, as mentioned above. Hope this helps!
