I have fibromyalgia, and was diagnosed a little over a year ago. I'm having a very hard time dealing with it. Every ache, every pain, scares me. I'm so afraid that the chest pain, weakness in my arm and tingling in my hands is a heart attack. Or that the different pains throughout my body are cancer.

I'm a working mother with two wonderful kids and a husband who is out of this world. He is a great support.

However I'm so afraid that everything I feel is going to cause me to die, and that I'm never going to see my family again.

I'm just so scared!!

Yes, Fibro can be scary. I know what you mean about all those weird symptoms & thinking you have something else also. Read allot of the post on here if you haven't already & I bet you'll find you have quite a bit in common with us.

If you have any questions, ask away, vent away.

Welcome trubee ~ Feel free to lean on our shoulders and learn all you can. It can be very scary to have the pain & sensations fibro deals and not understand why you have to deal with it. I'm glad you have the support of your family, as it is important. Learn all you can and ask all the ?'s you think of, even if you don't think they are relevant. Oh - also you can use our shoulders to cry/vent any time you need us. We will be here for you no matter what!
