Hi everyone I'm new to the site. Hope to get to know everyone here. We are having rainy cold weather and it is making my fm really kick up a notch.

Does anyone have the same problem with the weather changes?

Hi there! I'm from Iowa. The cold, damp, snowy weather has really been wreaking havoc on my body.

I've been complaining for several months about the cold temps, like up to almost 30 degrees below zero. And the many inches, or should I say feet of snow. We've got like 3 to 4 feet of snow on the ground. The drifts in some places are higher than the cars. It's one of our worsts winters!

I told my husband the other day. I'll be glad when Spring comes. Then I can complain about my allergies. Which I'd much rather be dealing with than this weather.

I seriously think that once our youngest daughter is out of school (3 more years) and my husband retires (4-1/2) we'll move to a different climate.

You take care!

Amy

Welcome, I'm fairly new too. We are having Sleet, Freezing Rain today! I live in Lebanon, Missouri.

I hurt so bad, yes weather does affect you. It also affects people with migraines that do not have FM.

Im in Chicago so its always bad here snowing as I type. I think thats why I am so use to the pain its everyday here but I think the rain is worse than the snow. The below zero winds hurt bad too I try not to go outside then at all. Lately my boss is mad because I call in sick on those days because I cant stand the thought of getting in the car after the work day and freezing all the way home. The pain it causes is just too much
