Its usualy when I get up first thing in the morning Im at a ten and then I have to hit the percocets or morphine. Last night I was up most of the night , I hate when I cant get the quality of sleep I need. I dont sleep in the bed I just cant it hurts to much and I cant afford a new bed right now. so I either lay on the couch or the recliner and none of them are very comfortable. Most times I wish I had never got started on the narcotics because Now I dont think I could ever get off of them with out going threw withdrawl and I hate that..

Ladies, I know just how you feel. Today my level is 10 and it hasn't been that bad in a long time. I take Neurontin and it helps some and I have a few side effects from it, mainly swelling and forgetting how to spell. I wish I could take Lyrica but the side effects were worse. I hope to get another hot tub by spring. I sold my lake house three years ago and the hot tub also went. I would love it today, it's snowing. There's nothing better but I wish this pain would ease up a bit, so I could at least work. Hi to all of my buddies and welcome to the newbies. GTaz

I am with you, Grannytaz. My pain is off the charts today, I think the weather has something to do with it, it is bitter cold and we had an ice storm and snow storm.

Hey I am new here....and a Man OMG (please no bashing) I feel your pain literally!!! I am an accountant...I sit at the computer all day - in so much pain I want to cry. My physical therapist was the one who first mentioned Fibro...she noticed that all my trigger points were tender. My osteopath put me on Lyrica 75mg twice a day...it really helps with the morning stiffness. But man does my neck hurt from sitting at the computer all day. My rice bag is my best friend. Five years ago I could run 10 miles a day....now I can barely get out of bed.

I never heard of using rice. I have heard of cherry pits, or beans. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the information Gary.
