 I was diagnosed 4 weeks ago although I have had leg problems for years and other stuff. I have had days that I just didnt think i could go on and everyone would be better with out me, I am losing my job because my rheumy will not fill out papers for a leave. Without my money coming in my family is going to suffer. Well since I have depressed many. I hope to learn and support. Gentle hugs

 Welcome skynate, yes we do want to talk with you!! You will find that the forum is super busy sometimes and alittle slower at other times. We are all here to talk just at different times of the day or night. Just being diagnosed can be a scary time. Not being able to do the things that you were able to do causes lots of emotions including depression. Hopefully you will be able to find the answers that you need here. We'll be here if you need encouragement or just to vent your feelings so stick around read older posts and feel free to ask any questions you have.

 Skynate, a very big welcome & lots of hugs to you. It can be relieving to get a diagnosis, but then comes the other side - dealing with the dx and the things that come along with it. From meds to emotions and everything in between. We are here for you to help. Please feel free to use us as a support system, no matter what you are feeling. A lot of us have been there, done that kind of thing. So sit back, relax, and post away.

By the way, feel free to PM me anytime. I check the computer a couple times a day usually. I haven't been feeling as well the past couple of days due to meds but am here for you in spirit. Welcome to the family!

 Hi Skynate and welcome. Sorry you are feeling so down,but we all go through those dark times here. The great thing is we don't go through them at the same time or alone. As long as you come here,you are never alone. This is a great place to vent your anger or fears or just ask questions.

You can vent here, u cry here, laugh, say nothing, let us know how ur day is going, all the way to hows the weather where ur at, It just doesn't matter,

I am newly diagnosed as well, and it has been a rollercoaster ride for sure. I think I am still in a little bit of denial which I think is normal...I hope..lol, although I am FAR from normal! ha ha ha Anyway I have found this site to be a wonderful supportive place, and very informative as well! Please stick around, read the older posts, and join in, and let us know about you! We're all here for each other, and I promise you you will be happy you joined!
