MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." OMG!!!!!! Wintersnow, I just saw in your last post you were from VA so I peeked at your profile. Before remarrying and moving to Ohio in 2000, I lived for 16 years in Reston, VA. right there by Lake Ann One of my friends lives in Centreville and my ex hubby worked out there at Dulles Airport. I loved Reston before it started "Expanding" everywhere. When I first moved there it was out in the country but now from what I hear about it, it's almost as congested as Tysons.

What is a pasty? pronounced, " PASTee"

Silly Pasties are a regional ethnic food and are hand-held meat and vegetable pies introduced by Cornish miners who migrated to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and other mining boom regions in the 1800s. Its form is very well suited to carrying down in the mines, and it’s a high protein, high carbohydrate meal in a crust.

What are the ingredients?

pasties are made with beef, pork, potatoes, rutabaga, carrots, onions, spices and a 100 percent vegetable shortening pastry crust.
