Ok, I'm new to this forum. I would like to thank Maggie for telling me about this forum. I read alot of the post here before I joined. What I was reading, was me. The questions I had in my head that I never ask anyone, have now been answered, Thank You All. (((HUG))) Ok, I'm 51 yrs young, a wife, mother, grandma. I was dx'd with fibro Sept '06. My primary Dr sent me to a neurologist at a Spine Center for back pain that I had been having off and on for over a yr. This Dr looked at the MRI, came back in the exam room told me that there is nothing wrong with my back, then he did an exam on me, checked my knees, elbows, around my neck, shoulders, back. I almost came off the table when he hit some of these spots. He looked at me and said, you have Fibromyalgia. I sat there for a second, then said, Ok, what is it. He explained a little bit to me. I came home, got on the computer to out find more. I have a great support system in my family, my husband is great and very understanding.
