MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

Boy am I hating this disease/condition this weekend!!! I cant get comfortable! If I sit up, my legs start to throb, if I lay down, my upper back and shoulders throb!! I don't know what I am doing wrong! If only I could figure out what I need to do to feel even a little bit better!!! This thing is soooooo darn frustrating!!

On top of that, I have cluster headaches which normally come every spring and fall. They seem to be coming on early this year because Ive had an absolutely awful headache for over a week now. Then there's the back issues...... UGHHHHHHHHHH I just want to feel comfortable, is that too much to ask???

K, thanks, I needed to get that out. If anyone has any exercise ideas I can do to try to loosen up, Im open to any and all suggestions!

Use a moist heating pad for laying down. What might be even better is put on relaxing CD and some candles and soak in bath tub with epsom salts. That should help a little. Sorry you are feeling so bad.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Thank you singing angel!!

I went to my mom's for a while today just go get out. We were watching GAC, they had a special to promote Grand Ole Opry's new CD of hymns sung by some of today's country stars. One of the songs they did was "Precious Lord". For anyone who doesn't know the song, its basically a song about feeling tired and worn and asking "Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me home." I cried like a baby!! At 40 years old, I kept thinking.. yes Lord, lead me home! Im just so tired of this!! But I know I am not ready to go and really wouldnt want to go any time soon, but some days it just feels like the BEST answer!

I guess its just another pity party weekend. Im miserable and I refuse to apologize for it lol I hope everyone else is having a better day than I am!!

Love,

Cath

Oh honey,we all have are pity parties and we are entilted. I agree with the hot tub, candles and soothing music. After your muscles are warmed up,try some gentle stretches to make yourself more comfortable and dont forget before your bath take your pain meds and muscle relaxors and stay well hydrated. This is what has helped me on those days. And I also know what it feels like to want to go "home" and receive that new body we are promised, but remember there is still great things in store for you here,it just doesn't feel like it today. If it helps any, everyone on this site has days like this, some of us more than others.Keep your chin up and I hope tomorrow is much better for you.
