That last statement I get - when I start feeling pitiful and sorry for myself - I have to remind myself - hey - I have a wonderful family & great insurance we live in a county that we have disibality, and meds etc - so you are sooo right about that. In so many ways - we are all blessed.... sometimes we just have to dig to find it

Good luck with WHAT EVER you find out honey!

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.

Ok I checked out the symptoms of lupus and I do have several of the symptoms however, one of the most important symptoms that everyone that has lupus does have which is the buterfly across the face I do not have.

I do understand what they mean about the red butterfly patch across the face I have seen people with that. Therefore, it rules out the lupus for me. I do not have legions either. I just have watery blister's that pop up and sometimes get infected. Lupus is not watery blisters either they are sores not blister.

However, thanks for the help you tried. That is all any of us can do. lololol

We are all here to help each other perhaps you might of found an answer for me. Dr. don't always know everthing do they??? lololol

take care and thanks for the try.

Yes I do get those. It is part of fibromyalgia. This is the skin problem they are referring to.

You usually only get it on your hands and arms however, some report it on their face and back as well.

The important thing to remember is these blisters scar easy. When you see one come up DON'T BUST IT. I know they itch but, if you can stop the itch do so, busting them causes scaring. I have many scars to prove it.

I have found that during the nite if I wear a pair of white gloves during a breakout or flareup these do not get infected so, less scaring. I also wear long sleeve tops to help with scaring. Why is because, while we sleep we are unaware that we are scratching the blister and causing it to become a scar.

There are meds that can help the itch and creams but, there is no meds to stop the blister from coming on you. sorry to tell you that. It is just another wonderful gift fibromyalgia gives to us.

Yes I get blisters too. Like the woman who started the thread I sense numbness on my fingertips before they come. OK I'm not going to spell it right so bear with me but I think it is Pustlar Psroasis. I saw a picture of it in a book- before the internet- and at least mine looked like that. They said people with compomised immune systems get them especially after stress. They haven't been bad in a few years but now I have other crazy symptoms to deal with!
