Hi,

My wife has been getting a lot of support from this group. I would like to thank everyone.

She is helped knowing that there are others who know what she is going through.

I am hoping to get some perspective on what she is going through. We have been married 5 years, and she has had this disease for about 3 of them I guess.

I hope you all don't mind me poking around in here to see what issues you all are dealing with, and maybe some solutions or work arounds...

I think it is great you are giving her so much support. You are a gem. She is a lucky lady to have a caring hubby like you.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Hi and welcome!

I'm glad that you can see that your wife is 'helped' knowing that we are here and suffer like she does. Ya know...that she's not alone!

My husband wrote something on here...maybe you could read it! Maybe your wife can find it for you...it's titled 'I married a fibro heart' ummm...i think! Well, his user name is suzeesotherhalf so you can search for that if you can't find it the other way. He says a lot there...without making it too long!

Suzee is right- got a question or concern, just post it and we'll get right to helping you out. We spend each day, just taking it one day at a time and helping each other get through it. And we're here for you too!

Take care!

I think it is great that you have joined. I wish my future hubby would join. He does not understand at all.

I feel that you will learn a lot here and it will improve your understanding.

Hi Earlfo Its good that you want to know what shes going through, and i have to tell you its alot. I have a hubby who gets it, he reads everything he can get his hands on and He goes with me to my appointments with the Pain Mangement doctor every month. We talk about it alot. He knows when Im Flareing, and when Im not getting any sleep. There is lots of good info here, and we just love Petey, she is in pain as much as we all are. we hate the pain, we hate not being able to do the things we use to do. I waited tables for 30 years and now I cant hardley wash a dish, let alone cook a meal. So please hang in there with her, and come back often to chat with us Fibromites anytime. desertmom54
