I have the same problems, but I have had neck surgery with a fusion and now if I sit at a computer for more than 1 minutes I am in extreme pain. I have a laptop with a wireless router which gives me the freedom to to come to this site, search the web and play computer games to keep me occupied. I know exactly how you feel and how frustrating it is. Welcome to our group,at least you are among friends who understand how you feel.

A laptop is the very best answer. You can sit any way that you're comfortable and take it with you anywhere. There are days that I can't get out of bed, but with the laptop, I can still communicate and not feel so isolated.

Yep, I use a laptop too. It's great because I can use it in bed, on the couch, basically anywhere in my house. Any wireless internet is essential! Before I got a laptop though i was forced to sit at the computer for hours to do my school work. I found a really cushy chair and used a rice bag with my tenz unit on my neck. Still not incredibly comfortable, but until you can get a laptop that is the best suggestion I have. Good luck to you!

Laptops really are the answer. Like Craig, I also have one of those bags that I heat up in the microwave. You sprinkle it with water and pop in in the microwave and you have instant moist heat. I actually have three of them. The best things I ever bought!

If you all chip in, it shouldn't be too expensive, right? Just kidding. When I was at my girlfriends I used her laptop for two days. It helped so much because I could put it the right distance from my eyes. I can't see this stupid screen unless I'm on top of it!

They are alot cheaper now than they used to be. I got mine at wal-mart for 350.00 and the wireless router was about 35.00.It was worth every penny.
