MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

Hi, my name is Donna and I am almost 50 years old and have suffered with Fibromyalgia for over 10 years. I work full time in my husband's law practice and by the time we get home in the evening I am spent. I have one grown son who is almost 21 and a Fireman/EMT.

I have a wonderful Dr. who believes Fibromyalgia is real and treats me with the most repsect and diginity. I currently take Soma 350 mg at bedtime to help me sleep, several hypertensives medications, Requip for Restlessleg Syndrome and Xanax for anxiety.

I am a native Texan and love all animals. I rescue feral cats, have them sterilized and they live with us on our property. I also have a very old rescued doggie named Ginger who I absolutely love. Animals are great as they never judge us, love us no matter what and are always there for us when we are in pain or we are rejoicing.

Hi Donna,

Welcome to the group! It's so good to hear you've got an understanding doc who believes in Fibro! There's lots of us here that don't!

I know what you mean about being 'spent' by the time you get home from work. I had to quit working last year...after many years of feeling soo terrible and then turning into not being a reliable employee. But since you work at your hubby's law firm, maybe you have an understanding boss?!?!

Glad you found us...stick around and post away. Share, ask, answer, get opinions and give them as well. Talk, vent, cry and laugh too!! We do all of that here and there are soo many wonderful friends here...you'll love it! I do!!!

Texas native huh? Okay, then...ya'll come back now...ya hear??? LOL

Looking forward to getting to know you better!!

Welcome. I know what its like to be spent too. I had to quit work because I couldnt handle it- too much pain and tiredness. This place has a lot of caring people. Welcome and feel free to post anything.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Hi Donna, welcome to the group!

I don't know how you do it. It has to be extremely hard going to work and having Fibro. I could imagine that you are exhausted by the end of the day! Everyone here is extremely supportive and I learn something new all the time. I have received such wonderful advice and support. I know you will also. We are all here for each other.

Terri
