MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

I take Ultram also but my Doctor is thinking of putting me on Morphine because nothing seems to help with my pain. I don't know if I want to take that or not, it sounds kind of scary! I am desperate for pain relief though.

I take Ultram and it helps my pain but I don't think my pain is as bad as some people. The vicoden I am sure is much stronger. You might have to take more to get a similiar affect. Did you ever try the perscription pain patches?? They work for me but I don't know about anyone else!

Tramadol doesnt help me unless I take two. If I take two it makes me vomit. Have you tried neurontin? It helps with nerve pain.

I've been tempted to try 2, but I'm afraid it would make me sick like it does you.

I haven't tried neurontin, but several people seem to like it. I'll have to ask my doctor.

I don't have alot of nerve pain- mostly muscular. I'm achy all the time like I have the flu. I guess that is better than what alot of people are dealing with. Ultram is pretty mild. Did you try that lyrica yet. Some people here seem to love it but others can't tolerate it.

I didnt know my muscular pain was caused by nerves until I tried lyrica. I couldnt handle side effects of lyrica so am on neurontin. It does help more than I thought it would.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

That's interesting. I'm sure Neurontin is cheaper than lyrica because it comes in a generic right? I tried neurontin when my inner tremors were bad and it just made them worse. Now that I am beyond that I don't know if I could tolerate neurontin again but if it works- GREAT

NO I realize all of us are different. I made mention a while back that is seems like everyone is on some different combo of drugs. I know that is what makes it hard for newbies!!!!

Be careful with the meds. A few years ago I was in bad shape with the pain and I took several meds at once. I doubled up on some. the result was not good. In hindsight my husband should have taken me to the hospital. I got very sick and was not in my right mind. It could have been a serious situation. Be careful with taking more or taking several differetn drugs at a time. I know in those moments of despration it is tempting to do anything to get some relief.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.
