Didn't realizae it was that time of the month already. No wonder my body has been screaming out in pain. Also we are suppose to get some rain tomorrow - well actually later today. That also causes bad flares for me. I've been double whammied

You're...
My friend,
My companion,
Through good times and bad,
My friend,
My buddy,
Through happy and sad,
Beside me you stand,
Beside me you walk,
You're there to listen,
You're there to talk,
With happiness,
With smiles,
With pain and tears,
I know you'll be there, throughout the years!
You are all good friends to me and I am grateful to you.

Culdn't agree more. And to make matters worse, I have the flu. Then my doctor looks at me today and said that it was okay, it was okay for everyone to miss a day of their medication if necessary. I felt like saying, Obviously, you don't have fibro.

Well, today I had a pretty good day. I did alot of work around the house but, I was in lots of pain too. I am trying to talk myself into the fact that if I just pretend it is not the full moon I won't feel so, bad. I am not sure it will work but, I have to try something. All in all it wasn't as bad as some full moons for me. I did have to take a nap after a strong pain pill later in the day but, most of the day was tolerable. I stayed outside most of the day in the sunshine and that helped my attitude also. If I can keep the depression down that seems to help me too. Hard work and low depression seems to lower the pain level for me.

OH, i know it is the full of the moon but, I am battling it all the way. Just keep on keeping on.

God bless you one and all

I to have worked in hospitals and er's and know that we always hated to see a full moon come on cause that meant we were busier in every dept especially the er and labor and delivery. Also the elderly or honory patients seemed to go even more crazy during the full moon. I have never noticed weather my pain got worse but will start paying attention for sure. I remember when I was pregnant with my son my dad told me I was fixing to have him cause it was a full moon and I thought he was crazy cause I had 5 weeks to go and sure enough my water broke that very morning so I know for sure it effect lots of things, I also know my fibro gets so much worse when it rains and my pain dr. has noticed as well cause I went to see her one day and had a hat on and the weather was gettin bad and she made the comment that she knew when it was going to rain cause her fibro patients would be wearing hats and she knew they were having unusually bad days. lol

Yep, that darn full moon is here again. I have had a case of bronchitis for about 3 wks now and the flu on top of it (got my flu shot too so don't know why I got hit). Anyway yesterday was really a bad day for me and then last night when my husband and I took the dogs out before retiring he pointed out the moon and mentioned how neat it looked with the clouds passing over it and when I looked I said is that a full moon (I wear glasses and didn't have them on so it looked blurry to me) and he said yes. Ah ha, no wonder my pain level was off the charts
