:hi all, I'm new here, have been reading your messages to each other and it is so great to be able to talk to others that understand. I have suffered for a long time with this, but since I had polio as a child, I just put all the pain onto that. Now I have been diag. with fibromyalgia, just what I needed to add to the list. I have a hard time, (like the rest of you) dealing with the pain. It is worse in my arms and legs, lots of time my neck. I am on lots of meds. and my doc. says they will have to be increased to get me leveled out. I don't know if that is possiable. I also am fighting depression awful badly. Take meds for it, but it really don't seem to work. Of course who knows how bad it would be without them. I have a great husband, thank GOD for that. I think my fibro started when my first husband of 34 years, (he was 52), dropped dead sitting beside me in the car. I truly lost it for a long while. SO if stress is what brings this on, I think that was my trigger. I can't handle anything stressfull anymore. It like I'm not even normal now. Others have had worse things and seem to go on. But for me, since I had the break down over my husbands death, I think that was my final straw. Well just needed to talk to someone about this, your family gets tired of hearing complants, so you start trying to hide things from then. But it still shows in your face....
