Hello, I'm happy to find a support network just for Fibro. It's good to know there are so many others who will be able to understand what I go through. I'm a wife, mom of three, and I teach 4th grade. And that would be hard enough without pain! Hope to chat with all of you soon.

Welcome, welcome welcome teach123. We are a very caring community. We can understand any problem. We can be silly, give advice, vent, etc. Mostly we are here for each other.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

Hi Singingangel, I think your post header says it all, at least for me.

I thought I should do this right and introduce myself to the group and I hope it's ok if I use this post to do so. My front name is Andrew Kelvin and I'm a Novelist who recently became diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but have endured this (I guess I'll call it an illness) illness for about three years now. From all the posts I've read it seems like my story isn't anything new which is a great relief.

The mind blowing event was the diagnosis having taken so long even though I knew in my heart and brain that this is what I had from all of the reading and research I had performed.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank those who have made me feel welcome already; "Singingangel, Snoopy30, and Ponderingreality" Because of all my deadlines I probably won't be a big time poster but I will do my best to pitch in.

Mainly I feel like I've learned all I can about this illness but now I get the opportunity to learn about the other people I never knew had it as well, at least not as many as I thought, and it also blows me away to see so many men on here which is very encouraging to me since doctors tend to turn you away on that very point.

So thank you again, and I hope I can help.
