Hi, I am new to the group and very relieved that I joined. I feel like nobody in my life understands what I am going through.

Thanks so much! It is comforting to know there are actually people who care. The only person who has any compassion is my mother. Everyone else in my life thinks "it can't be that bad."

hi terri welcome to our family. It is very frustrating when the people around you don't understand. that is why it is so easy here to share and learn from others because everyone does undersatand. the first time I read throught the posts and kept saying " I know what that's like" i knew I found the right place for me. I'm sure you'll feel that way in no time

Thanks! I know I will feel better having other people like me to talk to. I really do not have anybody in my life who understands. I'm tired of having to explain

myself!

Welcome Terri!

I'm really glad you found our support group! I know you're really going to enjoy the people here. They are really wonderful, caring people.

I'm sorry you've been in so much pain. Hopefully, you can find some ways to work through it from our group. People have wonderful ideas, and as you can tell- they are very supportive.

A suggestion for ya- you might want to try using the diary. I often, sometimes on a daily basis, write my thoughts, frustrations, feelings, accomplishments, etc. in there. Then when I go back through it, I remember how far I've come.

It will take time for people to 'get it'. Hang in there. And have comfort in knowing that we're here for ya.

Take Care!

Amy
