Why wear a ribbon?

MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

I'm with you Rita, I don't know what a pain free day would feel like. I can't remember what it's like without pain either. It seems like so long ago sometimes. But, I know on Fibro Island we will just feel like we are in HEAVEN!! I think we should be able to lay around all day on nice soft, fluffy cots and have servants that bring us anything we need!!

Hugs to all!! Red

I know what you mean.My last painfree day was when I had shoulder surgery. 4 yrs ago.The anesthesialogist was nice and gave me the local anesthia an hour or so before surgery. It was so nice laying there w/o pain. It was my fibro island w/o any beach. lol Not so much when the anesthesia wore off though.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

I would love to be pain free again if it was even for a minute but I will just dream about our fibro island and try to imagine how it will feel. I know that if I could be pain free, I would not be laying around I would be up dancing, running on the beach, flirting, drinking and just having a great big party. What about all of you

Fibro Island is beginning to sound better and better... no shaving.. no clothes (hope everyone packs really dark shades though if i'm going naked)... sun... massages... no pain... sounds like Heaven.
"A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear [that results] from the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl."

If I went naked, the whole island would clear out!!! !

I'll take pain free! AAHHHH, no pain, what would that be like?? I've been in pain for 22yrs, I don't think I can remember 'normal' anymore.

Laying on that beach and hearing the waves roll into shore, now I can wrap my mind on that!!! In fact, if I think and imagine real hard I don't feel my pain anymore!! If only!!!!

Spruce

P.S. Do any of you notice that only after a couple of posts the page changes??? Why is that happening?

I'm with you, Spruce! I will take pain free over going naked! Suffering from pain is bad enough, let alone others seeing me naked.

As for the page changing, I don't know why that is happening. I will try to find out.

I think that I might be losing my mind or maybe even a page because I do not know where the no clothes came in at. I have no ironing clothes but then we go to pain free and laying on the beach and no clothes. I am not going to be able to go with no clothes because I am to fat, shsh do not tell anyone - but I do know that you ladies are having a party and I was not invited. The reason I think that you are all having a party is because you guys are seeing no clothes and I don't that is not fair, I want to coome to the party ahhahh why wasn't I invited?

Ladies, you better be laughing because my kid thinks that I am losing it!

soft gentle hugs my friends!

I know I wasn't invited either because one minute I'm on a certain page then I post and it goes to another page !! Am I going crazy now!!! After all, we get every symptom known to man with fibro ya might as put crazy in there to, right?

I'm sorry folks, I'm not going naked either, I don't want to shock everybody with my 'gorgeous' body....you'd be soooooo jealous!! NOT!
