Why wear a ribbon?

"I werar the purple ribbon to show my support for all we fibros endure together--..." (iteach)

MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

AHHH, dream, dream, dream....hey isn't that a old song??? But it does help to dream and put your mind in a special place that brings comfort!!

As for wine gals....for me I can't tolerate any alcohol since I became sick. I tried some a few months ago to help relax me when I had the flu and still find it makes me feel crappy boohoo!! But it's a pleasant thought !

This is awesome, thats like when ur neighbor, friend, relitive and or just anyone has a problem with hick ups, {by the way anyone can do this for anyone} look at them tell them to close their eyes, alot of the time they look at u like ur nuts, but tell them plz, now go to fibro island where ever it is tell them what u see, for example say ur in a field, and there are rabbits on the ground and u can see them hopping around the field, you notice their cute little tail, u know the little white fuzzy one, and hes eating grass for food see him, his little whiskers are wiggling, can u see him. By this time the persons hic-ups are gone. They didnt even realize it. They have put there minds some where else and forgot the hic-ups. Try it, it really works and i feel it follows the sm line here, to try to help forget {if even for a few minites} the pain ur in. Fibro Island is my rabbit. Love u guys. write as often as u can, have a nice day.

Boy, the idea of laying around and having people massage all my sore, achy muscles sound great and add to that I get to eat lobster and scallops (my two favorite foods) I can't wait to go there. Count me in!

Well Torres, to get to our own special island you have to close your eyes and when you see first the sand then the turqoiuse ocean and at that point you'll feel the nice, warm, breezy sun on you!! Feel yourself on a water mattress floating on the gently moving waves as the sun warms your body as you move along with each soft wave. Do you feel yourself floating now?? Well, I hope you do cause that's how we get on our island and that's how it'll feel....isn't it wonderful? 'Sigh', what a beautiful trip that was..... !

So enjoy the experience !

I would love to be there right now. With no pain, no excessive weight, no stress and plenty of sun. I just might even get me a strawberry daiquri. Lounge around all day and ladies my daughter is babysitter age and as long as we let her check out a few boys her age she will even babysit for free. Now do we bring our hubbies/wives/significant others or do we leave them to deal in the real world? Some days I would say to leave them but other days I would say that I can not do without him. What do you all think?

One thing about our island we will not need FMS anymore because we will have no more pain. So we would have to go back to PMS (for the ones who can still use that) and the rest will have to use FIS (Fibro Island Syndrome). What do you think?

{{Gentle Hugs}} to all and alot less pain.

Oh angel you got it!!! I love the FIS thing.... I'm afraid I will still have to use the PMS thing a little longer though

Love the FREE babysitter offer!!! However, I wan't sure we were bringing the kids??!! Ok, I love them and all, but a little time off might not be bad..... Not sure about the hubby either. He's still being awfully nice so I might feel bad about leaving him..... but it's only for a little while Unless I get too used to those back rubs, hot tubs, days in the sun, cold drinks..... ok, it might be a little longer

Hey Angelbooze, your still practicing that 'NO' we talked about?? Because if your not, your best bet is leave everyone home for awhile, ok?? That way we don't have to worry about anything and all our stresses will float away!!
