MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

Welcome to the group mazza. I am happy to hear that your hubby is doing better.

I have never understood how sitting in a hospital all day can be so exhausting. When you get home you sit down and say "ah" and it feels so good...after sitting all day, what's up with that?

Hi Mazza & welcome to the group.

The one thing i find with my fibro is that no matter how long i sleep i still wake up tired! You need to try & get a regular sleep pattern, even if you cant sleep go to bed & rest its surprising how much it helps. I go to bed no later than 10.30pm & get up no later than 9am, i also try not to sleep during than day as this messes with my sleep pattern at night. Obviously if im having a bad flare i dont sleep well so my sleep pattern goes right out the window Laughing

The best thing ive found for fibro is this place, being able to speak about my problems & find out that im not alone with all this is a great help! Im sure it will be just as much help to you Smile

"When things go wrong and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
Its when things go wrong when you mustn't quit"
