Go to www.med-help.net/Fibromyalgia-Doctors.html

They have a list of reccomended drs for people with fibro. If that doesnt work just goggle on fibromyalgia doctors.

Welcome to this forum.

I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

You could always contact your insurance company for a list of Doctors in your area as well, I for one have to go with someone who is in my "plan" or it all comes out of pocket, and my pockets are rather thin these days. Can't work, can barely leave my home, and everything has a co-pay. Oh and rather than go to dr. after dr. and waste money I would call and ask a boat load of questions before even making an appointment. I would start now though, it seems most doctors who treat fibro have insane waits for appointments. Personally I was going stir crazy sitting home until I found this place, I feel it is saving my sanity to be able to vent and maybe even help a bit.

Good Luck!
