MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Hi Raven,

Nice to meet you! Im reading alot of people being diagnosed after accidents. My problems started about 11 or 12 years ago after being rear ended like you. I wasn't diagnosed with fibro until this year though. Before it was all mental..depression, anxiety..etc..that caused my muscles to tense supposedly. Last year I was diagnosed with myofascial trigger piont syndrome and now Fibro..sorry for the babble..Im just wondering...could that car accident be the culprit for me too?

Shar

Shar car accidents can definitely trigger fibro. Any trauma can as well if it is in your genes.
