welcome to this wonderful place. i'm pretty new but already feel like part of the group.

Yes! certain foods can cause flares at least with me. MSG is poison!! if i eat out at a resturant if have a flare. sometimes it hits before i get to the car when leaving the place. the thing that helps me most is to eat all natural/ organic foods. the more it is processed the worse it is for you. and as van (above) said sugar is bad. i try to use organic unprocessed sugar and flour.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.

be very careful of aspartamine which is in artificial sweetners. I quit drinking diet soda becasue of it. It made a significant difference. a while back I started drinking a flavored water and noticed I was feeling real bad. Yep you guess it aspartamine. so read your labels

Msg send me into a sneezing, wheezing problem. Yes you definitely need to figure out what will hurt you. Too much sugar is bad and msg bleached flour are all no no. I heard that berries are very good for us. At least we get some sweet things.
I have dystonia, neuropathy, gerd, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel and other ailments. I enjoy embroidery, music, and reading my Bible and Christian books. I love to bake. I try to be very supportive and positive.

HI... please go and research the artifical sweetners... you will be amazed... that stuff is in my mind pure poison.... It turns to Methal Alcohol in your system.. it attacks your central nerves system.... It is heat sensitive.... like sugar free jello....bad stuff.... 83 or 84 degrees is its magnifing point. Please if you dring diet soda... research the ingredience.
